I’ve been hustling around the North East of Canada and the US for two weeks without much respite, making sure Descent World has all the content the internet can ask for!
Mont Saint Anne was a really exciting event, with all sorts of shenanigans and amazing riding.
In the interim between the Canadian round and the American round, I stopped off in Lake Placid, New York with a crew of Aussies, Kiwis, and one Canadian (though, she is an honorary Kiwi for life). That mini vacation was much needed, and a hilarious 36 hours.
From there, we made our way to the Catskill Mountains, and rolled around in the dust for a bit. That race proved that there is always more speed and time to be had on a race course – insanity.
Now, racers and media folk have temporarily disbanded either to Whistler for Crankworx, or back to places in Europe to repair for the final two races of the year. I’ll be putting up a compilation of photos from the past two weeks, but in the mean time, I hope you’ll enjoy the links to the coverage I was producing these past couple of weeks!
