The season has come to a final rest, and it’s officially the off-season. What an amazing summer it’s been, I feel privileged to have been on tour and present for some remarkable moments in the sport. I’m putting together a little bit for a proper conclusion, but in the mean time, here are a couple fun photos as a precursor to what is coming down the pipeline:
Loic Bruni was a most-deserving winner of the Elite Men’s category. He had yet to win a race since moving up from Juniors, so to take his first win and become World Champion in front of his home crowd was truly special.
Friends in high places! Mechanics Nico and Tom [visible faces] find the best perch for watching the big show!
The Sagrada Familia is a magnificent piece of architecture, and to see the 133-year-in-the-making structure in person was something special. Barcelona is a neat place, and I’m actually quite keen to go back!
